What is changing?

From 21 September, TEN HD will be broadcast in the northern NSW markets of Newcastle, Tamworth, Taree, Lismore, Coffs Harbour and Gold Coast in Queensland.

TEN programs such as the Big Bash League, V8 Supercars, Formula One, Australian Survivor, The Bachelorette, The Wrong Girl and MasterChef will be presented in crystal clear high definition.

Which areas are affected by this change?

Northern NSW: Newcastle, Tamworth, Taree, Lismore, Coffs Harbour and Gold Coast.

How do I get TEN HD?

If you have a HD TV (Mpeg 4 capable) you will be able to receive TEN programs in HD on channel 52.

In the unlikely event that your TV cannot access all the Ten channels, a simple rescan or retune should fix the problem. This function is generally available via the TV setup or installation menu. If you are unsure how to use this function we suggest you check the manufacturer's instructions or website.

If you can receive TEN, 11 and ONE but can't receive TEN HD, Aspire and YesShop, it's likely your TV is not capable of receiving MPEG-4 transmissions used to deliver these channels. This newer transmission format is not supported by some older sets.

What are the new channel numbers?

The only change is to introduce TEN HD to channel 52. No other channels change.

What happens to ONE?

What should I do if I am experiencing issues with receiving audio on ONE (Channel 50)?

A small number of viewers have reported audio issues on ONE (channel 50) since the services was updated on September 21.

Anyone not receiving audio should do a channel rescan. If the rescan does not work, a system reset (factory reset) will be required.

Will I need to change the recording on my PVR?

If you have recorded a series on the series link function and you want to record the HD service instead, you will need to change this on your PVR so that you are now recording channel number 52.
